We are delighted to announce that the joint 25th Quantitative Musculoskeletal Imaging (QMSKI) Workshop and the 11th International Symposium on Ultrasonic Characterization of Bone (ISUCB) will be held in Hveragerði, Iceland, April 25–30, 2027.

The meeting unites leading researchers and industry experts to share the latest advances in imaging, image processing, and computational modeling for assessing musculoskeletal tissues in health and disease, and to evaluate the effect of related treatments.

The 2027 program will span topics from nano- to whole-body imaging, covering preclinical and clinical research, multimodal imaging and AI-based modeling, and cutting-edge image technology and analysis for conditions such as osteoporosis, osteoarthritis, bone metastases, rare bone diseases, and more, while also highlighting emerging research on joint and muscle imaging and characterization to reflect the growing interest in integrated musculoskeletal assessment.
